Plato's famous allegory of the cave implies that human beings mistake shadows on the walls for a true understanding of reality. The insight achieved in certain states of non-ordinary consciousness confirms the truth of this allegory. The human mind is capable of exceptional abilities and performance. We are capable of extraordinary levels of experience, insight and realisation.
The Living Mystery School seeks to promote and foster the expansion of human consciousness across all areas, supported within a foundational structure and integrated framework, incorporating the best knowledge, critical thinking, emotional intelligence and wisdom.
A visionary open path, not a fixed program or set of dogmas. The purpose of the Living Mystery School is to facilitate, support, encourage and “phoster” all participants to become truly independent imaginative thinkers, creators and sovereign individuals capable of experiencing the full mystery, beauty and multi-dimensionality of the natural living world; able to realise the power, depth and possibilities of their own miraculous living being. From a vision in which a core of seers and mystai with clear sight and insight work together in symbiosis with each other and with all beings on the planet to “reset time”, to “correct” the historical errors and deviations of human thinking and understanding, to create an expansive, nurturing and sustainable future for all life.
The Living Mystery School teaches a core ethos independently (as much as is possible) from cultural constraints. It encourages a clear mind, clear emotions, clear sight, clear thinking, expansion of awareness, creativity and imagination unhindered by unnecessarily limiting beliefs and thoughts such as, for example, stories and myths that no longer serve or beliefs regarding guilt, shame and sin.
The Living Mystery School supports self-directed education, endeavours and research in accordance with the core principles.
The Living Mystery is a community of like-minded people who wish to share their knowledge and experience; to delve more deeply into different states of consciousness; to explore ways of transcending the current cultural paradigm.
The aims of the core mystai will be to:
Experience a return to their own living core being; centred within the material flesh, blood and bone of their own bodies, their own births and deaths; their position within the life cycle.
Experience a deep connection to the natural world; receive inspiration directly from animals and plants, from the landscape and from all the layers of beauty and complexity of the multiverse in which we live.
As a result they are likely to discover a deeper capacity to experience feelings both of ecstasy and of profound inner peace. Discover or reaffirm the importance of the felt presence of immediate experience.
Be able to see and clearly distinguish between relative truths and social constructs, imposed story, manipulation, nonsense and lies.
Establish meaningful connections to previous times and places, perhaps to familial lineages, ancestors or other tutelary spirits.
Experience visions and guidance regarding future actions and endeavours.
Feel an increase in purpose, in creativity, in imagination, in the capacity to fully experience and interact with the intricate multi-faceted tapestry that is the living mystery.

“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.” - Terence McKenna
